actually this post related with my final project to finished my bachelor degree in mechanical engineering. so, what i’m going to tell you is : multi stages thermolectric (peltier element)

Early 19th century scientists, Thomas Seebeck and Jean Peltier, first discovered the phenomena that are the basisfor today’s thermoelectric industry. Seebeck found that if you placed a temperature gradient across the junctionsof two dissimilar conductors, electrical current would flow. Peltier, on the other hand, learned that passingcurrent through two dissimilar electrical conductors, caused heat to be either emitted or absorbed at the junctionof the materials. It was only after mid-20th Century advancements in semiconductor technology, however, thatpractical applications for thermoelectric devices became feasible. With modern techniques, we can now producethermoelectric “modules” that deliver efficient solid state heat-pumping for both cooling and heating; many ofthese units can also be used to generate DC power in special circumstances (e.g., conversion of waste heat).New and often elegant uses for thermoelectrics continue to be developed each day.

as you can see in the picture, thermoelctric consist of couples semi conductor (Type P & Type N) electron will move from the higher energy element (type n) to the lower one. each side of the thermoelectric will be covered by ceramics, when the electric current flows to the thermoelectric, temperature different between each side will occur, that’s why we can use this device as a heat pump without moving part.

27122009 hari penuh aktivitas

tanggal 22 desember, hari minggu kemaren bisa dibilang cukup padat.well, kumpul-kumpul keluarga, jalan – jalan, makan – makan (ini sampai kenyang,perbaikan gizi ). let’s start the story

hari minggu pagi,kira – kira jam 9 pagi, jalan ke slipi (tempatnya om doni), disini udah semuanya hampir ngumpul (tante lin,tante yanti,om hanafi,om del)  kecuali rombongan dari tasik. well, ternyata kita ketemu rombongan tasiknya di balai kartini, sekalian ngeliat pameran mobil klasik. di balai kartini dari mulai jam 10an sampe jam 12an, ngeliat mobil – mobil tua tapi masi kekar dan mengkilap,jadi ngiler

itu dia,beberapa foto dari acara pameran mobil klasik, yg warna orange itu toyota celica gt classic, trus yan dibawahnya itu corola GT (mirip kaya di film initial D). di acara ini mobil dikelompokkan berdasarkan negara asal si mobil, misalnya australia yang diwakili holden, prancis diwakili citroen dan beberapa lainnya.

habis dari balai kartini, sekarang giliran ibu – ibu dan tante – tante yang  jalan – jalan. yap, tepat sekali, tanah abang tujuannya,surga belanja bagi para ibu – ibu sampai di tanah abang makan dulu di food court (saia makan banyak ) yang paling menarik di tanah abang adalah, waktu mau keluar, ketemu toko yg ngejual t-shirt, nah yang unik dan lucu itu, ada anak kecil umur 8 tahun ikut ngebantu 2 org kakak nya berjualan

tuh dia orangnya..anak kecil yang semangat berjualan baju, mungkin karna lagi libur, dia diajakin ikut  jualan..udah hafal harga, tau harga kortingan berapa, gaya bicaranya udah mirip kakaknya..ada ibu yg sedang belanja dan dilayani oleh anak ini,well,dia ga bisa berenti senyum melihat gesitnya dia melipat – lipat kaos yg dia jual.

what happen with juve ?? i simply cant understand with their latest performance, after the nightmare match vs bayer munchen, they never really play like they were before. even bari and catania cant beat them. catania made it harder because they beat juve in turin. what happen with ciro ferrara’s squad ??

well, this semester officially finish this day, i hope i can get a better grade this semester (amiiin).. and i wish next semester could be my last serving semester in this yellow beloved campus (amiiin again ). next semester will be full with my final research program, my final project will discuss about the thermoelectric cooling..just wish me a bunch of luck guys
