Owen in Merseyside Derby

Owen in El Classico

Owen in Tyne-Wear Derby

Owen in Manchester Derby

Michael Owen was born in 14 December 1979 in Chester. so far, he’s already played for 4 clubs during his career, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Newcastle United & Manchester United. The interesting things during his career are : Each club where he played  has a Derby Match. In Liverpool, Owen played against Everton in Merseyside derby. In Real Madrid, Owen played in El Classico against FC. Barcelona. In Newcastle United, Owen played in Tyne-Wear Derby against Sunderland. and i will always remember his last minute goal in manchester derby back in 2009. another point to consider is, that Michael managed to netted (not in every derby match) a goal in the derby matches.

Last night our beloved national team has played their last game in the 2nd round FIFA World Cup qualifying match (AFC Zone) the opponent team was Turkmenistan, one of the former Soviet Union nation. the first leg was done in July 23, in Ashgabat Olympic Stadium in Turkmenistan where the match ended draw,1-1.

As usual, Gelora Bung Karno Stadium shown their awesomeness, the supporter in this stadium always 100 %  support the national team, the supporters keep singing, playing the drum & trumpet during the game. their song make my skin crawl!! you can see the fireworks from the picture, it simply shows how enthusiastically the supporters. the game ended 4-3, as the host team win the game. Indonesia advance to the next round, and of course the tougher opponents already there. a higher step already waiting for the team. Good Luck GARUDA!!!

anyone probably will agree with me, Mario Balotelli is one of the brightest talent in his generation. during the early stages of his career (he start his senior team debut in 2007-2008) how many times he has been in troubled by his own attitude ? the video shown Balotelli’s latest problem, the commentary said it was a disrespect act to the LA Galaxy team. Boy, you better work harder, you will be a big thing one day.

History of Jam Gadang

I’m not sure when was my first time visiting the “Jam Gadang” in the downtown of Bukittinggi, West Sumatra. “Jam Gadang”  is the local name for “giant clock”. This giant clock was properly placed in the center of the town. until the last hour, i don’t know the real story behind it. 26 meter standing tall in the center of the city, Jam Gadang was very famous for the number in the watch (not everyone pay attention to this), look at the picture below

you can see something wrong with the watch :D

Jam Gadang was build in 1926 designed by Yazid Sutan Gigi Ameh, it was a gift from The Dutch Queen for Rook Maker (Bukittinggi was under the Dutch Colonial Government). This building consist of 4 watches facing four sides of the building, each watch has 80 cm diameter. the las shape of the top of the building is the shape of Minangkabau traditional house (Rumah Gadang). Today jam gadang very famous as the symbol of the city.

Well, like they did last year, this summer Manchester United re-visit Unite States of America. this pre-season tour has just started today at the Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts. Man United play their first game of the season against the home side, New England Revolution, one of the Major League Soccer members. At the end of the match, Man United manage to secure a very comfortable lead against the host team, 4-1 is the final score after being a goalless match before the half time. Michael Owen, Federico Macheda & Park Ji Sung manage their name on the score sheet. This match also become un-official debut for one of Man United new signing : Ashley Young. Man United will play their next match in the US soil next week in Seattle, as their going to spend over 2 weeks during their tour in the States. Good luck lads!! Glory Glory Man United.
